Abimbola Fernandez Life

Darnel Abimb?la "Bim" Olumegbon Fernandez (born May 25, 1989) is a French-born American heiress and singer.

She is the niece of Antonio Deinde Fernandez, a Nigerian billionaire ambassador.

She appeared on numerous internet pages in 2014 and joined Pink Grenade as a member of the band Pink Grenade.

Later this year, she departed her brand.

Early life

Abimbola Fernandez was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, a commune in Paris's western suburbs. Antonio Deinde Fernandez, a billionaire from Lagos State, who had immigrated to the United States as a young adult, was his father. In the early 19th century, his Fernandez family descended from a Portuguese-Brazilian slave trader who raised a family with an African wife in Lagos.

Fernandez's father had four previous unions; his third wife, white American Barbara Joyce, who married him in 1961 while living in Virginia, bore him three children in the United States; he divorced him in 1984 or 1985; then filed for divorce in 1987. Princess Abiola Dosunmu, his fourth child, married him in Nigeria in April 1973 in a well-attended ceremony. The union produced a daughter and lived until 1987-1988. Sandra Inett Price, Fernandez's African-American mother, was his fifth partner. Aduke Fernandez was the woman at their union, which she said began in 1982 with a Nigeria tribal wedding but later admitted that they never officially married. Atinuke was the first child born to the couple, and Abimbola followed in 1989. Darnel Abimbola Fernandez's birth certificate identifies her name as Darnel Abimbola Fernandez and her mother's name as Aduke Olufunmilola Olumegbon Price Fernandez, as well as her mother's name, Aduke Olufunmilola Fernandez. Olumegbon's name comes from the Olumegbon noble line of Isale-Eko, Lagos; her father was a descendent of this noble house by his mother.

The family spent a short time in the Hotel Ritz Paris before heading to Chateau de Bois-Feuillette in Pontpoint after Fernandez's birth.

She and her father moved to New York after her father purchased the historic All View Estate on the southern tip of Premium Point, New Rochelle. Fernandez started playing the violin at the age of four. She attended Rye Country Day School and later the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Connecticut at the age of six. She and her family migrated to Edinburgh, where she attended Fettes College at age 10. She began playing guitar at the age of 13. Fernandez graduated from Fettes at the age of 18. She took classes at The Art Institute of New York City and then enrolled at Oxford Brookes University in Oxford in 2009. Her father was disapproved when she dropped out after one month to pursue a music career.

Fernandez lived a happy childhood as a wealthy man's daughter, traveling the world in his jet, especially to African countries, and holidaying in the summers on his 150-foot yacht, Yemoja. She competed in six national horse shows as an equestrian. Her mother was worried that she would be kidnapped and detained for ransom. Many world figures, including Pope John Paul II, George H. Bush, Kofi Annan, Nelson Mandela, and Mobutu Sese Seko were among her family's visiting her house on business with her father, including Pope John Paul II, George H. Bush, Nelson Mandela, and Mobutu Sese Seko.

Her father stepped out of their Edinburgh home in May 2003 while she was in Scotland, and her mother initiated divorce proceedings, costing £300 million. The case was eventually settled for 36 monthly payments totaling £1,080,000.

Personal life

In May 2013, Fernandez's mother died of colon cancer. Fernandez's death prompted her to re-evaluate her career and push forward in music as her mother's had wished, unlike her father, who had cut off her benefits for a few years because he disapproved of her musical career.

Fernandez shared tribute messages and family photographs on her Instagram account after her father died in September 2015, showing her father and her father together.

Fernandez and her step-mother Halima, her father's sixth long-serving spouse, became embroiled in a bitter struggle over inheritance after her father's death. Halima did not consider Fernandez to be a legitimate heir to her father, while Fernandez said Halima was never married to her father. Halima was not considerate of the father's desire to be buried in Nigeria with a state funeral, burying him in Belgium, where he died, and arranging a smaller funeral service aimed at Fernandez's deceased mother. The feud erupted into online jabs, which have spilled out.
