Chad Everett Gilbert (born March 9, 1981) is an American singer and record producer.
He is a founding member of the rock band New Found Glory, for whom he plays lead guitar, sings backing vocals, and composes music.
He was also the lead vocalist for New Found Glory's now defunct side-project, International Superheroes of Hardcore.
Gilbert was also the drummer for the hardcore punk band Shai Hulud between 1995 and 1998, and he rejoined the band in 2012. Gilbert recently began recording, including H2O's Nothing to Prove and A Day to Remember's albums, Homesick, What Separates Me from You, and Common Courtesy.
Gilbert also announced in 2010 that he would post solo music online, free of charge, and that several demos and 7" vinyl records would be released under the name What's Eating Gilbert.

Chad Everett Gilbert was born in 1983 in Coral Springs, Florida. He attended J. P. Taravella High School but left after the 11th grade after New Found Glory signed to California-based record label Drive-Thru Records.
Personal life
In February 2007, Gilbert married Sherri DuPree of the rock band Eisley and then divorced later this year due to infidelity on Gilbert's part. Hayley Williams, Paramore's lead vocalist and keyboardist, married him from February 2016 to 2017 due to infidelity on Gilbert's part. On October 3, 2020, Gilbert married Lisa Cimorelli, a member of the all-sisters singing group Cimorelli. Their daughter was born on July 17, 2021, so they were born on July 17, 2021.
Gilbert announced on January 26, 2010, that "suspicious cells" had been discovered in his thyroid, and that half of his thyroid will be surgically removed. Gilbert declared on Twitter that the surgery went well and no cancer had been detected.
Gilbert revealed on December 19, 2021, that he underwent emergency surgery at the ICU to remove a rare cancerous tumor called Pheochromocytoma after being discovered unresponsive in his bed at home.
Gilbert announced on August 15, 2022, he had been diagnosed with cancer once more and that he would have surgery the next day.
