Ian Grushka Career

Musical career

In 1997, Grushka performed bass in the band "Inner City Kids" and later "Flip 60" with Jordan Pundik (vocals). Stephen Klein (guitar), whom Pundik discovered at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and had previously performed with him in the band "Fallview"), was recruited after disbanding "Flip 60." The threesome began to jam together. Joe "Taco Joe" Marino was invited to play drums in Grushka's garage later that day. Chad Gilbert, a former Shai Hulud singer, arrived to complete the quartet shortly thereafter. The band will be called New Found Glory.

Grushka has collaborated with a variety of artists in addition to his New Found Glory projects. On DBY's 2004 album Make It Bleed, he appears on the bass. On Man Overboard's 2013 album "Boy Without Batteries," he also appears on "Boy Without Batteries." On the 2013 album "Cry Me a River," "Stay with Me Tonight," and "Johnny," Andy Jackson And The Mary Tyler Mormons, Grushka plays bass.

Grushka has also performed on several albums. On the tracks "Drinking Song" and "Thank You" from the 1998 Anchorman album, he serves backup vocals. On the 2007 release of Nervous Breakthrough by the band Lefty, he appears on "Miserable" and "Up 'Til Now."

In 2004, Grushka and Gilbert formed Broken Sounds, which stood for Broken Records, Vietnam, Eagleslayer, Suffocate Faster, and Slowdance.

Acting career

Grushka appears in the 2004 film Tales from the Crapper, as the majority of New Found Glory. In the Good Charlotte video for "Festival Song" and the Less Than Jake video for "My Money Is On The Longshot," he makes a cameo appearance.
