Buzz Osborne Life

Roger "Buzz" Osborne, also known as King Buzzo, was born on March 25, 1964, and is a musician, singer, and songwriter.

He is a founding member of the Melvins, as well as Fantômas and Venomous Concept.

Personal life and beliefs

Since 1993, Osborne has been married to graphic designer Mackie Osborne. They are dog owners who have owned several rescued dogs. The couple decided not to have children. Osborne does not agree that rock musicians should make political statements and that people "should look for greater sources than entertainers for their political convictions." He is a dedicated golf fan and player.

Osborne does not drink or use other recreational drugs.

When asked about American politics, Osborne said, "I hate conservatives, but I hate liberals." Here's a look at the details. "I have my own ideas about everything, and it's basically liberalism." He told the journal Alarm in 2008 that he opposed both modern socialist and fascist views, saying that he is "into true liberalism" which means you control your own goddamn company; you take care of yourself." In a 2014 interview with Tonedeaf, Osborne said that American economist Thomas Sowell has a major influence on his career. "I think Sowell is the greatest philosopher of all time." Osborne explained. "He is a PhD economist, and he has written more than 30 books on anything you can imagine, from social commentary to how economics works."

"I don't care at all about his politics," Osborne said in a 2008 interview with City Newspaper of Rochester. I believe in personal liberty and personal responsibility. And no one tells you what to do more than the left wing. They're a bunch of fascists."

"People must get over it" in terms of copyright and illicit file sharing of songs, Osborne observed.

He's also added, "Is it stealing?

Well, yes, but it doesn't really matter. It's over. Times have changed. We have to move forward. "I wish I had something like YouTube when I was a kid so I could go, "Oh, what's this Captain Beefheart?" says the narrator in a previous interview.
