www.dailymail.co.uk, August 5, 2024
Former Leicester winger Anthony Knockaert has hit out at Watford fans in a furious rant on social media. Knockaert was livid after constantly being reminded of his penalty miss against Watford in the dramatic 2013 Championship play-off semi-final. The sides were level at 2-2 on aggregate when Knockaert stepped up to take a penalty, which was saved by Watford goalkeeper Manuel Almunia. In one of the most memorable footballing moments of recent years Watford then went down the other end of the pitch, with Jonathan Hogg setting up Troy Deeney, who scored a dramatic winner.

This wasn't the case this time, with Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham all doing major business on deadline day. But did they spend their money wisely?Which sides look well-placed to finish the campaign strongly, and who has left themselves short? Sportsmail has taken a look at the operations of all 20 Premier League clubs and rated them from A-F on how they did in January.
