And breathe. The January transfer window is over, and managers now know exactly what they're doing for the remainder of the season. The mid-season window can be a little anti-climatic, with clubs choosing to stick with what they've got rather than risking any disruptions to their squad for the second half of the season. This wasn't the case this time, with Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham all doing major business on deadline day. But did they spend their money wisely?Which sides look well-placed to finish the campaign strongly, and who has left themselves short? Sportsmail has taken a look at the operations of all 20 Premier League clubs and rated them from A-F on how they did in January.

Fulham is expected to sell Roma winger Justin Kluivert on loan with a £10 million option to buy. Marco Silva's side is expected to have a busy end to the transfer window, with the Cottagers confirming agreements with both Layvin Kurzawa and former Chelsea star Willian this week. And it now looks as if they're about to add Kluivert, with Silva vying to expand his attacking options to put off relegation concerns.

Fulham and Lazio are in talks with Tottenham Hotspur over a loan transfer for Sergio Reguilon. The Spanish defender joined Real Madrid in 2019 as a high-profile signing but has failed to live up to expectations in north London and has fallen out of favour with boss Antonio Conte. In the pecking order, Ryan Sessegnon and new signing Ivan Perisic are both ahead of him, and Spurs' future remains uncertain.

The summer transfer window hasn't failed to disappoint. Although the majority of Europe's top-flight leagues are set to tighten their belts, the Premier League has gone the other way, with top-flight clubs spending more than £1.5 billion so far during the season - and further contracts are planned. This is a record figure, outspending the £1.43 billion top division clubs invested in the summer of 2017. Chelsea leads the way as the division's top spenders, closely followed by Nottingham Forest, who have signed a startling 16 players under Steve Cooper. With just a week until the transfer window closes on September 1 at 11 p.m. BST, Sportsmail looks at where each club is planning to improve and who is on the radar. Fulham and Roma are in negotiations over a contract for out of favour winger Justin Kluivert. The two clubs are discussing an initial loan agreement with a £10 million buy-out option, with Cottagers manager Marco Silva eager to include more attacking options to prevent relegation worries. The 23-year-old Dutchman, the son of legendary Netherlands forward Patrick Kluivert, has been out of favour at Roma and Fulham throughout the summer.

Both clubs are attempting to find a fee that will see the Dutch star (left) leave on a permanent contract. Marco Silva, the cottagers' boss, is anxious to add to his attacking options in order to reduce relegation concerns. Sportsmail revealed earlier this month that the newly promoted team had spoken to Roma about the possibility of signing the 23-year-old. Fulham had jumped ahead of West Ham in the hunt to sign Kluivert for around £8 million mooted.
