Early life
Rockwood, who was born in Clovis, New Mexico, is the eldest of four children of German-Thai descent and was raised in the Philippines, Spain, and Guam. She went from San Francisco to Los Angeles to complete art school and work with Michelle Bohbot and Bijan at the age of 22. She left a career as a composite sketch artist for the Los Angeles Police and instead took up modeling for designer Michelle of Bisou Bisou.
