Enterprise was one of the most notable characters on Star Trek: Blalock's biggest leap. She recalled: she recalled: she remembered her time on the program:

In Enterprise, Blalock played Subcommander T'Pol, a Vulcan diplomat on Earth who was first assigned by Vulcan Ambassador Soval (a recurring role played by Gary Graham) as an observer on the ship's first mission. At the end of the episode, Captain Jonathan Archer is asked to remain on Enterprise as its Science Officer (played by Scott Bakula). As the series progressed, she assumed the role of First Officer, and she resigns her Vulcan career to remain on Enterprise when the Vulcan High Command orders her back to Vulcan. She formalizes her presence in Starfleet and is granted a field commission of Commander, retaining her position as the ship's First Officer, where she remained for the remainder of the series.

Blalock hasn't attended conventions or gave interviews about her character on Star Trek: Enterprise, except for FedCon XIV in May 2005, but she did agree to attend a 2013 cast reunion for an interview during the Blu-ray conversion and production. In a 2009 episode of the sitcom 10 Items or Less' "Star Trek" a parody version of herself attending a Star Trek convention.

My heavyheartweight warriors in arms. Thank you for this Beautiful Birthday Tribute!! You got me, you got me…I am got!!! Well played! I am so moved!! I love all of you and I am beyond honored to walk this beautifully unpredictable, mostly hard and uphill, but overflowing with love, path with you. Our world is so busy, so noisy, so immediate. There are so many things worth fighting for. So many things that NEED fighting for. At the hinge of every tipped scale, we are being asked even pleaded with, to listen, take a breathe. We are being asked to connect with that still inner space within each of us where understanding and perspective expand in the presence of pressure, tension, and friction. At the core of every worthy fight sit the questions we all ask “Do you see me and Do you…could you…care?”. Thank you for receiving me as a foreigner in these battle line trenches. Haiti has expanded my heart far beyond it’s stitches. Each of you inspire me with your creativity, talent, capacity and tenacity. I know there are times when it feels like the sweat, tears and sacrifices we put into this seems to disappear between the cold floor boards of this incredibly fast tech age. The nuanced art of media, social media or self promotion is elusive but we have seen time and time again the universe solve at the exact right time. This too will come The music we create, the communities we serve and champion. The lives we change, all add to the ever present song of our one and only Earth. Because of every champion defender our Earth hums a lovelier tune. Let us all shine like Diamonds!!! Thank you, This means so much to me. R3VOLVE HAITI!!!
