Ana Paula Machado Bessa (born May 16, 1976) is a Brazilian Christian worship leader and singer-songwriter.

She is the head of the ministry of praise Diante do Trono, which has sold more than 15 million worship albums worldwide and has led worship services of up to two million people.

Ana Paula Valado, the creator and founder of Brazil's most popular contemporary Christian music bands, has recorded more than 50 albums, including live recordings, studio and children's, as well as some solo projects.

The group has sold more than 15 million albums in various formats, making it one of Brazil's largest ever recordings.

During the recording of the album Quero Me Apaixonar, Diante do Trono brought together over 2 million people at Campo de Marte Airport in So Paulo, second only to the Rock in Rio festival.

Sol da Justiça has also been selected for a Latin Grammy Award in 2012 by the Ree Globo and Promises Awards, and her band was also nominated for a Latin Grammy Award in 2012. Life and career

Ana Paula Valado is the granddaughter of Lagoinha Church's pastor, Pastors Márcio Valado and Renata Valado, a charismatic Baptist megachurch in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. She is André Valado and Mariana Valado's older sister. She began her musical career by being involved in a charity called King's Kids, and her first album, Expresso de Fé, was released by the King's Kids. El-Shammah's singer appeared on the album Ele Tem Sido Fiel some time later.

Valado completed law at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), but after that, decided to attend the Christ for the Nations Institute (CFNI) in Dallas, Texas, United States, he returned to school in 1996. When she returned to Brazil, she began writing songs, and her first album, Diante do Trono, was released in 1998. Its establishment marked the birth of Diante do Trono, the Italian group's first incarnation. On September 13, 2000, Valado married Gustavo Bessa, a year and 11 months after they first met. She continued to struggle and portrayed this difficulty in her CD Esperança, particularly in the title track "Esperança." When making her second album, Ainda Existe Uma Cruz, she was pregnant with her first son, Isaque Valado Bessa, who was born on January 3, 2006, and Benjamim Valado Bessa was born on May 23, 2009. She also launched her first solo album As Fontes Do Amor in the same year.

She and her family moved to Dallas, Texas, in August 2009, where her husband continued his ministerial studies. On Diante do Trono's official website, she announced that she did not leave the band and would continue to appear in all of the band's main functions. The family returned to Brazil in May 2011.

Valado has been recognized for more than 32 awards on behalf of her organization. She won 7 out of eight nominations for Troféu Talento (a Brazilian award similar to the Dove Awards), and in the 38th GMA Dove Awards for the album In The Father's Arms, she received none. Diante do Trono has visited many countries in America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Valado has been at the helm of the organization's ministries, compositions, and committees throughout its history.

Valado was listed as one of the 100 most influential Brazilians of all time by the Brazilian television network SBT in collaboration with the BBC in July 2012, where the public suggested names of people who should be considered Brazil's most influential figures. Me Ama is Brazil's most popular Brazilian of All Times, 97 years old, has served in the program O Maior Brasileiro de Todos Tempos (English: The Greatest Brazilian of All Times) since being on Brazilian national television, she has performed Me Ama. She was rated by Forbes as the 89th most influential celebrity in Brazil in December of that year.

Valado was invited by the Christian Embassy in Jerusalem to minister at the Feast of Tabernacles in Ein Gedi desert and Pais Arena in September 2015. The singer performed in Brazil and Latin America at the festival, with representatives from 95 countries. The singer had been invited to attend Empowered21, Israel's international conference earlier this year. Ana Paula Bessa, a student at CFNI, and her family returned to Dallas, Texas, where she taught at CFNI and served as a worship pastor at Gateway Church at the end of 2015. She has ministered in several chapels and conferences throughout the United States, such as IHOPKC and Oral Roberts University, among other things. She has also appeared in CBN and Daystar Television Network's television shows.

In late 2017, she and her family immigrated to Florida, where her husband continued his studies. Valado, a woman from the 2018 Worship, Intercession, and Mission Diante do Trono Conference, declared that she and her husband will preside over a new Lagoinha satellite church in Miami.

The Lagoinha Church in South Florida has since relocated to Boca Raton and is now called "Before the Throne Church, By Lagoinha," or "B.Church" for short.

Valado has been the lead singer of the Lagoinha Church since 1997. The band has released more than 15 million albums, has received more than 32 awards, and has performed to a worldwide audience of more than 7 million for their various annual tours.

Valado has been dedicated to missionary work since childhood. In 1998, Diante do Trono's first album was released in India to raise funds for a missionary project that rescues girls from sexual abuse victims. She has invested 90 percent of the funds earned in missionary causes over her career. Valado and her partner Gustavo Bessa launched the "Misso DT" on April 15, 2017, which aims to raise funds for missionary causes in India, Israel, and also in the Brazilian Serto, which has been promoted by her ministry's social causes since 2014.
