Music career
On March 15, 2013, Aiono's debut single "Doesn't Get Better" debuted. Aiono's debut EP Young & Foolish came late this year. John Legend co-wrote the EP's title track. Aiono has cited John Legend as one of his greatest influences, and he has written two songs with the artist.
Aiono began creating "flipped" versions of famous songs, including a mashup of Drake's "One Dance" and Nicky Jam's "Hasta el Amanecer," which attracted more than 67 million viewers on YouTube in 2016. The video showcased Aiono's vocals, charisma, guitar playing, and production capabilities.
