Yoon Chae-kyung (born July 7, 1996) is a South Korean singer.

She debuted as a member of Puretty under DSP Media in 2012 and then became a member of both C.I.V.A. (a girl group based on the mockumentary series The God of Music 2) and I.B.I.

Both groups debuted in 2016.

She became a member of the girl group April in 2017. She has appeared on "survival" shows Kara Project (2014) and Produce 101 (2016) as a contestant.

Career

Yoon debuted in September 2012 as a member of the DSP Media-based girl group Puretty, releasing the singles "Cheki Love" and "Shwa Baby" in 2013 and "Shwa Shwa Baby" for the anime series Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future. The character Chae-kyung, based on her, appeared in the main cast to coincide with the tie-in. Plans for the organisation's members to join other organisations were disbanded in 2014.

Yoon participated in the Kara Project, a reality show in which seven trainees competed to become new members of the girl group Kara in mid-2014.

In early 2016, Yoon appeared on Produce 101, a competition in which the final 11 contestants formed the I.O.I. She was ranked in 16th place in the final episode. "Clock" by her mother on May 1, a digital single created in association with Chaewon in April (Korean: ).

Miryo appeared in Mnet's mockumentary series The God of Music 2 with a few other Produce 101 contestants in July and then formed C.I.V.A, which released the song "Why" starring Miryo.

She joined LOEN Entertainment's project group IBI in August 2016. On August 18, the group unveiled the digital single "Molae Molae" (Korean: ). Following the departure of one of its members, the organisation announced on November 11 that it would be joining April.

On January 4, 2017, Yoon debuted as a member of April's third mini-album Prelude and its title track, "April Story" (Korean: ). On January 28, 2022, April officially disbanded.

Chaekyung resigned from DSP Media on April 22, 2022. Yoon signed a 2022 deal with Management A.M.9.
