Yancey Arias (born June 27, 1971) is an American actor best known for his television crime dramas, particularly as Miguel Cadena in the NBC series Kingpin and as Gabriel Williams in the FX series Thief.
Life and career
Miriam's mother, Maria, is a Puerto Rican, and Anthony, his father, Tony, is Colombian. Arias was born and raised in New York City. He attended Moore Catholic High School and St. John's Preparatory School before embarking on Carnegie Mellon University to study theater.
Miss Saigon's 1992 production was his first big break, and he spent years in various capacities. In addition to television appearances, he continued to act on stage, including a leading role in The Wild Party in 2000.
In 2001, he moved to Los Angeles, where he and his wife, actress Anna Alvim, live. For the first half of the season, he appeared on the show Knight Rider.
