Tyler Austin Miller (born March 12, 1993) is an American professional soccer player who plays for Los Angeles FC in Major League Soccer. Miller grew up in Woodbury, New Jersey and attended Bishop Eustace Preparatory School.

College career

Miller attended Northwestern University for his entire college career. He made 77 appearances for the Wildcats and finished with a school record of 36 shutouts.

He also competed in the Premier Development League for the Ocean City Nor'easters and Chicago Fire U-23.

Club career

Miller was drafted in the second round (33rd overall) of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft by Seattle Sounders FC on January 15, 2015. Miller, however, signed with SVN Zweibrücken, a German regionalliga team, where he made ten appearances. Miller joined the Seattle Sounders FC 2 in the United States on July 9, 2015. In a 4–0 victory over Arizona United SC, he made his debut three days later.

Miller was first picked by Los Angeles FC in the 2017 MLS Expansion Draft on December 12, 2017. Miller debuted in a match against his former club, the Seattle Sounders, on March 4, 2018. Miller made 4 saves to save a clean sheet while going on to win 1–0.

Los Angeles FC sold Miller to Minnesota United FC in exchange for $150,000 GAM in 2020 and $50,000 TAM in 2021. Minnesota has signed Miller to a new deal through the 2022 season, with the option for a second year. Miller had undergone hip surgery and would miss the remainder of the 2020 season, as it was reported on August 19, 2020.
