Trent Seven Career

Professional wrestling career

Webb made his debut at the age of 29 during a 2004 Alternative Wrestling World exhibition in Birmingham and adopted the ring name Trent Seven, a play on Severn Trent, the company that supplies water to his home area. He divided his time between wrestling and a day job in the ensuing years.

Seven people travelled to the United States in 2011 and 2012 to compete for Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), losing both times. In 2012, he returned to Japan, where he appeared at three shows for Big Japan Pro Wrestling, including a show at Korakuen Hall.

Despite being a "part timer," Seven was given a match for the Ring of Honor World Championship during ROH's 2011 tour of the United Kingdom. On a show promoted by Fight Club Pro (FCP), Seven lost to defending champion Davey Richards on July 15, 2011. (FCP). Seven became the first holder of the FCP Championship at some time in 2011, but it was not until Eddie Edwards lost the title to him on November 25th. When he defeated Mark Haskins in the finals, he won FCP's annual "Infinity Trophy Tournament." Trent Seven unsuccessfully challenged Trevor Lee for the TNA X-Division Championship on Friday at an FCP show on February 5, 2016. Moustache Mountain (Seven and Tyler Bate) teamed up with Joel Allen on January 7th to defeat #CCK (Chris Brookes and Kid Lykos) and Shay Purser, with Allen winning Allen becoming the Attack's champion! Allen lost the 24:7 Championship only on the same night.

Seven, alongside Bate, debuted in Chikara as part of their United Kingdom tour, winning 426 to the Devastation Corporation in another dark match on April 3rd and losing to the Devastation Corporation (Max Smashmaster and Blaster McMassive). Seven and Bate lost in their last dark match on the tour, defeating Pete Dunne, Damian Dunne, and Jimmy Havoc in a losing match. As Team Fight Club: Pro, seven teamed with Bate and Dan Moloney at that year's King of Trios, making it to the semi-finals before being eliminated by the Bullet Club (AJ Styles, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson). Seven and Bate started competing in Chikara in 2016, and they defeated Los Ice Cream (Hijo Delice Cream and Ice Cream Jr.), N_G (Hype Rockwell and Race Jaxon), and The Devastation Corporation to win the Chikara Campeonatos de Parejas on August 21. During Chikara's unveiled season 16, they were stripped of the title.

Seven people returned to Chikara on September 1st, 2017, when Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne, collectively known as "House Strong Style," entered the 2017 King of Trios, beating House Whitewolf (A-Kid, Adam Chase, and Zayas) in their first round match. House Strong Style dominated the quarterfinals and House Sendai Girls (Cassandra Miyagi, Dash Chisako, and Simon Grimm) over the next two days.

Trent faced Big Damo for the ICW World Heavyweight Championship in 2016, before falling into a feud with Mikey Whiplash, resulting in a six-man fight between Legion (Mikey Whiplash, Tommy End & Michael Dante) and Moustache Mountain & Lewis Girvan. Trent Seven, who had been campaigning for main event Fear & Loathing XI, said he felt he was the rightful challenger to the World Heavyweight Championship. Trent, who had been heavily backed by the ICW, fought for the ICW's Red Lightning to give him a shot at the championship in the months that followed. Trent was compelled to face Wolfgang at Fear & Loathing XI after being disregarded by Lightning, with the title on the line inside a Steel Cage.

Trent meets Wolfgang in a Steel Cage match for the ICW World Heavyweight Championship at Fear & Loathing XI, at The SSE Hydro, in front of the country's biggest independent wrestling audience for more than 30 years. However, after being wracked by outrage, Trent punched Wolfgang with his own knuckleduster on the roof of the cage, causing Wolfgang to collapse to the ground, inadvertently winning the game. Trent took one more shot at the title by defeating Chris Renfrew at the O2 Academy Newcastle in 2006, winning the ICW World Heavyweight Champion title and earning himself one more shot at the O2 Academy Newcastle.

Trent will remain the ICW World Heavyweight Champion for two months, fighting the title against BT Gunn, Pete Dunne, Jack Jester & Jordan Devlin, until losing the title to Joe Coffey at Barramania III. Trent returned to Shug's Hoose Party 4 for a short time after being away for a few months, facing BT Gunn, Wolfgang, & Pete Dunne in a 4 Way match for the WWE United Kingdom Championship. This was the first time the title had been defended on UK soil, outside of a WWE ring.

Trent would not return to ICW until almost a year and a half later, at Fear & Loathing XI, where he, Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate lost to the team of Wolfgang, BT Gunn & Noam Darling.

Both Seven and Dunne were put into a seven-man elimination match for the vacant Progress World Championship, which was eventually won by Dunne after Tyler Bate returned and assaulted Jimmy Havoc, thus turning heel and aligning himself with Seven and Dunne. After Dunne's attempt to give his half of the shield to Bate, seven and Dunne were disqualified from the Progress Tag Team Championship on December 16th. In a three-way tag team match, two weeks later, at Chapter 41, Seven and Bate defeated The London Riots and The LDRS of the New School (Marty Scurll and Zack Sabre Jr.) of the London Riots and The LDRS of the New School (Marty Scurll and Zack Sabre Jr.) to win the vacant titles.
