We the Kings, an American rock band from Bradenton, Florida, are on display.

The band's self-titled full-length debut album, which was released in 2007, featured the platinum single "Check Yes Juliet" and went on to sell over 250,000 copies in the United States. We the Kings, the early days of its establishment (1955–2008)

The four bandmates (singer/guitarist Travis Clark, guitarist Hunter Thomsen, brother bassist Drew Thomsen, and drummer Danny Duncan) formed the band while attending high school, and they all remember it. Martha B., a middle school, received the band's name. King Middle School is located in the United Kingdom. The band We the Kings were known as We the Kings before the band was known as We the Kings, the group was referred to as Broken Image. Don't Die Cindy's debut in the summer of 2005, when the band went by Broken Image and then debuted under the moniker De Soto. For the final leg of the tour, A Heartwell Ending (later renamed Call the Cops) was supported. We the Kings underwent our first tour under that name as a five piece in 2005, with the then-unknown Boys Like Girls as the group's support for the new release of the "Great Escape" music video. During late March and April, the Kings were on its first headlining tour Long Hair Don't Care With Valencia, The Cab, Sing It Loud, and Charlotte Sometimes. On the group's UK tour, We the Kings supported Cute Is What We Aim For and Boys Like Girls.

The band debuted a number of tracks on social media portal Purevolume in 2007 to raise internet buzz under Bret Disend's direction. The band has also appeared on Warped Tour 2010 from June 26 to August 2. The band is planning a world tour in 2011 following the Warped Tour. The band appeared at a local venue in New Haven, Connecticut, in April 2010, during a benefit concert with fellow pop punk band Voted Most Random. Thousands of dollars were raised for ClearWater Initiative, the event's largest fundraiser to date. We the Kings appeared at 93Q Summer Jam, a festival held in Baldwinsville, New York, on the Papermill island in June 2010. The band performed with Cartel, Jaicko, Mayday Parade, New Boyz, Shontelle, and Spose. The group performed "Secret Valentine" alongside a few other songs, and then "Check Yes Juliet" concluded the show.

We the Kings toured the United Kingdom in ten cities from February 4th to November 15, 2011, with Manchester's appearance being one of the first to sell out. Throughout the tour, Versaemerge, All Forgotten, and I See Stars all supported the band. The Maine and Never Shout Never Shout Never Bothered Never Shout Never existed in the Philippines for the same month. In early March 2011, the group toured Australia, including at the Soundwave festival. With The Maine and Never Shout Never Shout Ever, the band also headlined two sold-out sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne. In Summer 2011, the band performed on the Friday Is Forever Tour in honor of Smile Kid. The Summer Set, The Downtown Fiction, Hot Chelle Rae, and Action Item all helped. Clark performed at a business conference held by Billboard magazine in November 2011, partnering S-Curve founder and record producer Steve Greenberg to introduce an interactive video game based on the band's songs and images.

Almost two years after the band's second album, Sunshine State of Mind, was released, a sequel to the band's second album, Sunshine State of Mind. The album debuted and peaked at number 45 on the Billboard 200, preceded by the single "Friday Is Forever." "Say You Like Me" was the album's second single, peaking at number 32 on the Pop Songs chart and number 29 in Australia. The single was later named gold in Australia for exports over 35,000.

Charles Trippy and Coley O'Toole joined We the Kings in October 2011 with Trippy playing bass guitar (replacing Drew Thomsen who left the group earlier this year) and O'Toole playing keyboard and rhythm guitar. The band appeared on many tours throughout 2011, including the End of the World Tour, Anarbor, The Downtown Fiction, and Mayday Parade. The group then toured countries in Europe, including Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Finland, Switzerland, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Serbia, Portugal, and the United Kingdom. We the Kings debuted in January 2013 as the group's fourth album. Clark appeared in California with Duncan, Hunter Thomsen, and O'Toole, while Trippy produced bass tracks in Florida with Boyce Avenue's studio. During February, the band headlined another tour around Europe, including the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland. By March 2013, the band members had announced that a new album would be released in the first week of April. "Just Keep Breathing" is a song about how frontman Clark was mocked as a youth. After only three days of sales, "Just Keep Breathing," which was released on April 5, reached number 101 on the UK Singles Chart and number 13 in the Official Alternative chart. On the mid-week chart for April 10, the single climbed 63 places to number 38. On May 3, the second single, "Find You There," was released. On June 14, the band's third album, "Any Other Way," was released. The band completed the Summerfest 2013 tour with Breathe Carolina, T. Mills, and The Ready Set on September 1, 2013.

Vitam Regum, the group's forthcoming fourth album, was revealed on November 22, 2013. Vitam Regum will be announced on November 26, 2013. Charles Trippy revealed it on Twitter on November 26, 2013. The band's name had changed to Somewhere Somehow on December 2, though. On December 9, 2013, the band released "Art of War," their fourth single for Somewhere Somehow, titled "Art of War." The album debuted at 44 on the Billboard 200 and at 88 on the UK Albums Chart in its first week of existence as an iTunes exclusive.

Clark revealed on YouTube on February 18, 2014 that the band would be traveling on Warped Tour 2014. We the Kings appeared on the SlamDunk Fest 2014 with bands such as The All-American Rejects.

Clark began recording songs from his previous album as well as re-recording songs from the previous album for an acoustic album after the Warped Tour 2014. "Is This the End" was included on the album, as well as some new tracks, such as "Stone Walls" and "Is This the End." On November 24, 2014, the album was fully released. The Kings of this album completed a short, Florida-only tour and also released a lyric video for "Stone Walls."

Clark, O'Toole, and Thomsen began recording guitar and vocals for the fifth album in O'Toole's studio in Connecticut in February 2015. Duncan began recording drums on March 2, 2015, and ended on March 4, 2015. Clark said in a talk that the album was ninety percent finished and that it was mixed. Trippy began collecting bass in his home studio in Tampa Bay, Florida, on August 25, 2015. On his YouTube vlog show "Internet Killed Television," he previews a song off the album titled "From Here to Mars." This album was produced by Blake Healy of Metrostation, who also produced Somewhere Somehow. Elena Coats came into the studio on September 20 to record vocals for a track on the new album titled "XO." Coats appeared on a track other than his previous work, Somewhere Somehow, called "Sad Song." In his YouTube video, Clark performed a song off his latest album titled "All The Way" on October 4, a preview of the upcoming album.

We The Kings announced on October 4 that the album's debut date would be November 20, 2015. The group also revealed a headlining Australian tour in February 2016. Strange Love, the album's name, was revealed on October 24, 2015, and its cover art was revealed. "Love Again", the album's first single off the album, as well as the pre-order, were available on October 30, as well as the pre-order. On November 6, the album's second single, "Runaway," was available. On November 20, the album was released.

Travis Clark revealed in September 2016 that he was writing music for a new We the Kings album in his studio in Orlando, Florida. "This is what writing/recording looks like for new We The Kings songs," he posted photos on Instagram.

The tour will run from February to May 2017 with 32 dates in the United States, 3 dates in the United Kingdom, and one date in Canada.

We the Kings unveiled a Self-Titled Nostalgia album on September 12, 2017. The album is made up of reworked versions of all the songs on the band's debut studio album, We the Kings. "Planes, Trains, and Cars" is also included in the collection, as well as one new one.

We the Kings debuted "Festival Music" on December 1, 2017.

We the Kings premiered a video in December 2017 announcing the start of production on their sixth studio album.
