Travis Robert Burns (born 23 April 1991) is an Australian actor and comedian best known for his role as Tyler Brennan in the long-running television soap opera Neighbours, dating from 2015 to 2018.

Burns first came to fame with his role in the American action-drama television series SAF3 (2013).

Personal life

Burns was born in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, Australia's regional capital. Since 2013, Burns has been in a dating relationship with model, actress, and fellow Neighbours actor Emma Lane; in March 2016, the pair announced their engagement. They married on the Bellarine Peninsula on December 16, 2017.

Career

Burns' first acting role was in SAF3, an American action-drama television series that follows the Malibu Fire Department's daily battles of the Sea, Air, and Fire ("SAF") divisions. Chase Robertson, a lifeguard on Burns, appeared in eight episodes of the drama. SAF3 was primarily shot in Cape Town and Camps Bay Beach, South Africa, and the series premiered on The CW in September 2013. He later moved to the United States to continue his education in acting, having auditioned for roles in films including The Fault in Our Stars (2014) and Terminator Genisys (2015), although the young actor was unsuccessful.
