Early life
Grace was born in New York City, the son of Pat, the assistant to the New Canaan Country School's headmaster, and John Grace, a Madison Avenue executive. Jenny is his sister. His paternal grandmother came from a German-Jewish family, whereas his mother is of Irish descent.
Grace grew up in Darien, Connecticut, where actress Kate Bosworth, a middle-school friend, and actress Chlo Sevigny, who later appeared in high school recitals, was often his babysitter.
Personal life
Grace began dating actress Ashley Hinshaw in January 2014 and the two engaged in January 2015. Grace and Hinshaw married in Santa Barbara, California, on May 29, 2016. Hinshaw and Grace were expecting their first child on August 1, 2017. They were born on November 1, 2017. Hinshaw and Grace were expecting their second child together on January 5, 2020; their child was born in 2020.

Career
On Fox's That '70s Show, which premiered in 1998, Grace was cast as Eric Forman. He appeared on the show for the 8th and final seasons. Randy Pearson, the actor, was written out and replaced with a new one (Josh Meyers). In the final episode, Grace made a brief guest appearance.
In director Steven Soderbergh's 2000 film Traffic, Grace played a prep school student who introduced his mother to freebasing, as well as having uncredited cameos as herself in Ocean's Eleven and its 2004 sequel, Ocean's Twelve. "You're supposed to be the worst version of yourself," the narrator says, although I don't think that many people are familiar with the technique." I never thought for a second that people were actually going to believe that was what I was like. "I bet that people will know that I was faking it in those films," he told Flaunt magazine in 2007.
In Ocean's Thirteen, he was supposed to arrive. However, he was required to abandon these plans due to his role in Spider-Man 3. "I was doing reshoots on Spider-Man 3," Grace said. I was ill. Grace and editor Jeff Yorkes started "Lou's Cafe" on Twitter in 2019, the pseudonym by which the two people honor their work. The diner name came from the diner featured in the film Back to the Future. Later this year, Pixar and Yorkes were hired by Pixar to produce "Toy Story 4 Ever" and released on Pixar's YouTube channel.
