Todd Herzog (born January 29, 1985) is a former reality television presenter who became the Survivor: China champion in 2007.

Herzog appeared on Dr.'s television show Dr.'in late 2013.

Personal life

Herzog was born in Pleasant Grove, Utah, and he was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a flight attendant for SkyWest Airlines before appearing on Survivor. Herzog is openly gay and dated Spencer Duhm of Tocantins. In August 2019, Herzog became engaged to Jess Hermansen, and the two married on November 11, 2020.

When he was on Survivor, Herzog had both American and Canadian citizenship; however, he had to forego his Canadian citizenship in order to claim his million dollar award.

Herzog was suffering from alcoholism in 2013. His mother called the Dr. Phil show and he was inebriated. Courtney Yates and Sandra Diaz-Twine, among other Survivor contestants, gave Herzog encouragement and assistance. Herzog told journalists with Stat News and The Boston Globe that he was not intoxicated when he arrived at the Dr. Phil studio in 2017, but that he was given a bottle of vodka and a Xanax pill before his TV appearance, which the production firm denied.
