Tasha Smith (born February 28, 1971) is an American actress, director, and producer.
She began her career on NBC's Boston Common (1996-97), and she appeared in numerous films and television series. Smith has appeared in films including The Whole Ten Yards (2004), Daddy's Little Girls (2007), The Longshots (2008), Couples Retreat (2009), and Jumping the Broom (2011).

Early life and education
Smith was born in Camden, New Jersey, and was raised by a single mother. Sidra Smith, her identical twin sister, now lives in Harlem. Smith graduated from Camden High School in her freshman year and then migrated to California at the age 19.
Personal life
Smith married one-year Keith Douglas, who was also her boss, in December 2010. Smith appeared in court in November 2014 to request a restraining order against Douglas. She accused him of having affairs with other women in papers submitted prior to the court appearance. Tisha Campbell-Martin, Smith's companion, appeared as a character witness. In March 2015, the final divorce decree was released. Smith, on the other hand, contest the divorce by arguing that Douglas concealed information from her that she should not have known before the marriage. Douglas was not "man of the cloth" that he pretended to be at their courtship, according to Smith. She also said that if she had known of Douglas' family history, she would not have married him. Douglas' history included five marriages before he married Smith, several children he did not mention and tell Smith, and no income tax withholdings for nearly a decade. In December 2015, the judge dismissed Smith's marriage on the grounds of dishonest conduct committed by Douglas.
