He started working with fellow American rapper XXTentacion and their acolyte, Only, in 2017, and his songs "Catch Me Outside" and "Babywipe," which are both included on his mixtape YouWillRegret and Gold by the RIAA, were released in May 2018. On the Billboard 200 chart, there are 50 points.

Goulborne's debut studio album, Stokeley, was released on November 18, 2018.

Early life

Stokeley Clevon Goulbourne was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on April 18, 1996. He is of Jamaican descent.

Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott, Wu-Tang Clan, and Lil Wayne were among other performers. He has said that his parents used to play Jamaican music around the house. Goulbourne's father, a rapper who performed the stage name "Sin City," would often coerce his son to concentrate on writing his own rap music. In 2013, Goulbourne was sent to a juvenile detention center for the possession of "about $10 worth of weed," where he encountered XXTentacion. Since being released from detention, the two became close friends and often collaborated on songs.

Personal life

Golbourne lives in Atlanta, Georgia, as of June 2018. In March 2018, he had a heart disease that needed surgery.

Goulbourne expressed support for gay rights in a 2016 interview. Goulbourne expressed disdain for President Donald Trump in 2020, comparing him to a white supremacist.

Before they started raping, Goulbourne was close friends with XXTentacion. In 2013, they spent three years in a youth detention facility. In an interview with Adam22, Goulbourne said that X's criminal convictions astound him. X had teaches Goulbourne about various raping techniques whilst in jail. When the pair were first discovered, they met up with the intention of committing home invasions but instead began releasing music together. Members Only, a group of rappers formed the group Members Only. Craig Xen and Goulbourne embarked on The Revenge Tour in 2017. Following the shooting of XXTentacion's cousin, the tour was postponed. By late 2017, the two had parted ways and started collaborating on their own projects. Around this time, it was assumed that the two people were feuding.

Goulbourne and XXTentacion were reunited at the Rolling Loud Miami festival in 2018, reaffirming their bonds. XXTentacion was assassinated on June 18, 2018. Goulbourne learned of his best friend's death on Instagram Live and mournfully informed his followers of the rapper's demise.

Juice Wrld, a rising rapper, was befriended by Goulbourne in early 2018. The two went on to collaborate on the track "Nuketown," which became Goulbourne's most charting hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The two were confirmed to be working on a mixtape dubbed Evil Twins, but the actual project was never revealed. Following Juice Wrld's second album, the pair joined the Death Race for Love Tour alongside Cole Bennett of Lyrical Lemonade in 2019.

Juice Wrld died of an opioid-induced seizure on December 8, 2019. Goulbourne reacted emotionally to the rapper's death. Later this month, Goulbourne attended Juice Wrld's funeral.

Goulbourne's two closest friends' deaths in a span of eighteen months had a major effect. Goulbourne paid tribute to XXXTentacion's son, Gekyume Onfroy, many times during his own performances; Goulbourne paid tribute to him for the first time in person at a performance.

On April 11, 2017, Goulbourne was led off stage and then assaulted by a member of rapper Rob Stone during a show at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. The assault was reportedly sparked by an ongoing feud between the two rappers, beginning when Goulbourne refused to leave the stage during Stone's opening act. Rob Stone was kicked out of the remainder of Desiigner's Outlet Tour.

Goulbourne, a singer from Austin, Texas, demanded a moment of silence for his XXTentacion, which was accompanied by the crowd. "Fuck X, the woman-beating piece of shit!" an audience member yelled. Goulbourne branded the audience member and ordered the rest of the audience to "fuck his ass up," triggering a melee fight. Although the audience was beating the guy, Goulbourne performed "Look at Me" for the first time before the venue's security dispersed the incident and led the man outside.

Goulbourne was sent to a youth detention center for marijuana use in 2014. In August 2016, Goulbourne was jailed for driving with a revoked license, driving without a license, and a robbery. Later on, he was released on bail.
