Francisco Javier Gomez-Aspron (born 4 February 1985 in London, England), known professionally as Sisco Gomez, is an English dancer and choreographer.
He was awarded the Best New Choreographer award at the UK satellite version of The Carnival: Choreographer's Ball in 2005.
Career
Sisco Gomez was born in 1985, as an only child, and is of Afro-Colombian origins. Francisco Gomez-Aspron, a draughtsman at the Seville shipyard who came from Seville, Spain, and moved to England in 1954; his mother is from Cali, Colombia, es Vallecano. Sisco became a dancer after following his mother's footsteps. He studied musical theatre, jazz, and tap at Westminster University. He also attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School and Pineapple Performing Arts Academy. Gomez joined Culture Shock Dance Troupe, a hip-hop group based in the United Kingdom, at the age of 16. He then lived in the United States (New York), as well as in several European countries.
