Shin Ji-won is a South Korean musician, rapper, actress, and television presenter for JTG Entertainment, better known by her stage name Johyun. Berry Good, the girl group, has performed on their second mini album Glory in 2016.

Early life and education

Johyun was born in Seongnam, South Korea, on April 14, 1996, from a former ballerina. She was an avid short track skater from elementary school to the first year of junior high school before being forced to study abroad due to a student transfer. At the 9th National Men's and Women's Short Track and Speed Skating Championship in 2006, she took first place in the female elementary 3rd-4th graders at a record of 49.51 seconds. In 2013, she became an idol.

At Dongduk Women's University, she studied Broadcast and Entertainment.

In late October 2016, Johyun was introduced as Berry Good's sixth child. Glory, her second mini album, made her official debut on November 1st. Her stage name is an homage to actor Joey Wong, who is known as Wang Jo-hyun in Korean.

In autumn 2017, she appeared on We're Also National Athletes, a talk show based in Athletes, Canada. She spoke about her experience as a short track skater preparing for the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. She appeared on reality survival competition Mixnine, finishing 24th and being eliminated.

Begin A Game, a MBC game show, co-hosted the MBC game show Begin A Game in 2018. She made a name for herself in the esports world thanks to her obsession with League of Legends, culminating in two related programs: Game Dolympics 2019: Golden Card and Egame of Thrones. She competed in the finals with the Jangtan Gamedan team in the second round, winning the title.

She co-anchored Things These Days, a cable variety show starring Kim Yu-bin and Jun Hyop-seong in 2020 and appeared in the main cast of Strange School Tales: The Child That Wouldn't Come, a horror miniseries. She starred in the horror thriller film Hypnosis in 2021 and coproduced the second season of Things These Days with Heo Young-ji.

JTG Entertainment announced its merger with Starweave Entertainment, as a result of Berry Good's disbandment; Johyun departed to Starweave to continue her acting career on May 12, 2021. She appeared on Cherry Blossoms After Winter as the female lead later in November. She co-hosted the MBC special program that culminated in the Beijing Winter Olympics on January 30, 2022.
