Personal life
Pivovarova, a Moscow native, now lives in New York, where her home doubles as an art gallery. In a Teen Vogue interview, Pivovarova said, "I was playing with pencils while the other girls were playing with dolls." Pivovarova paints and draws in her spare time. Her paintings have been seen in a gallery in Paris, Mansion Grand in New York, and have been published in French Vogue. In an interview with CNN, she said she uses something as a canvas: hotel papers, casting, and itinerary papers—anything she can find. Pivovarova is married to photographer Igor Vishnyakov.
