She is best known as Prada's longest-running fashion model, having appeared in 19 different AD Campaigns as of 2016 (a record Pivovarova has set for the brand).
Pivovarova, a Moscow native, now lives in New York, where her home doubles as an art gallery. In a Teen Vogue interview, Pivovarova said, "I was playing with pencils while the other girls were playing with dolls." Pivovarova paints and draws in her spare time. Her paintings have been seen in a gallery in Paris, Mansion Grand in New York, and have been published in French Vogue.
