Myler made his Super League debut against Crusaders on February 14th, scoring a goal in a Salford victory.

He signed a four-year deal with Warrington, making him the most expensive teenage signing in Rugby League history. Myler was promised a new deal that may have made him the highest compensated player in Widnes history. Martin Offiah, a Warrington agent, said he turned down the offer and instead preferred a four-year contract.

At Wembley Stadium, he was instrumental in the 2012 Challenge Cup Final victory over the Leeds Rhinos.

However, it was announced on July 10th that Myler would remain in the Super League after signing a two-year contract with the Catalan Dragons from 2016.

Myler had signed a three-year contract to join Leeds Rhinos beginning with the following season, and it was announced on June 27, 2017. Myler scored a hat-trick in Leeds' 36-32 victory over the Catalans Dragons in round 21 of the 2022 Super League season. Leeds had been defeated 32-6 in the second half, with one player being issued with a red card. Leeds defeated Huddersfield 18-14 in round 25 of the 2022 Super League season, according to the players' discontent. With less than five minutes to play, Myler was trapped in a tackle with Chris Hill of Huddersfield, and Myler unfurled his legs in the air while trying to milk a penalty. Hill was given a yellow card for the incident that resulted in a foul play in Leeds and resulting in the winning try. Myler played for Leeds in the 2022 Super League Grand Final, which was 24-12.

Myler has played for both the Lancashire and England U-17s at the Academy level.

He was selected in the England training squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.
