Ralf Alastair John Little (born 8 February 1980) is an English actor, poet, and semi-professional footballer who works mainly in television comedy.

Early life
Little was born in Bury and attended Bolton School (Boys' Division). His parents are accountants. He had a Welsh grandmother.

Career
When Little was given the opportunity to appear Antony Royle in BBC sitcom The Royle Family, he had a big break. He had to leave his studies to become a doctor at the University of Manchester medical school in order to concentrate on his acting careers. The original run of the series ran from autumn 1998 to December 2000, and after a one-off special in 2006 that Christmas specials, with Little returning to the role of Antony in 2006, 2009, and 2010.
He appeared in another sitcom, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps (or Two Pints), as Jonny Keogh, after the initial run of The Royle Family. The first series ran from February 2001 to September, and the total number of nine series was nine. During an interview with This Morning in September 2007, Little said that he would not be returning for the next series due to a jumbled schedule. His character was subsequently shattered. Football career
Little, a Manchester United supporter, is a keen footballer who has played for a number of semi-professional clubs as well as others. He was playing for Maidstone United against Wimbledon in March 2003, having previously been training with Staines Town. In October 2004, he joined Isthmian League side Edgware Town, making his debut in the FA Vase match against Waltham Abbey.
He played for Chertsey Town from 2007-08 and the Stone Dominoes, a North West Counties League team, on July 8. On several occasions, he has appeared in celebrity football games for charity and has worked with members of Hollywood United when living in the district for acting career purposes.
