J.Mohideen Abdul Khadar (born August 26, 1949), known by his stage name Rajkiran, is Indian actor, producer and director, who has acted in more than 25 Tamil films.
Early life
Rajkiran was born as J. Mohideen Abdul Khadar on 16 March 1949 at Keelakarai into a Muslim family. He was married to Chellamma in 1996 and separated in 2014. And later he remarried to the actress Padma Jyoti in the same year and they had a son, Nainar Mohammad and daughter, Zeenat Priya.
Film career
Rajkiran began releasing two Ramarajan starrer films, and in one of them he appeared in a brief role. He produced and appeared in lead role in Kashuri Raja's debut film, En Rasavin Manasile, which had a silver jubilee run in 1991. For his appearance, he received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award Special Prize and the Cinema Express – Best New Face Award. In Aranmanai Kili (1993) and Ellame En Rasathan (1995), which also had silver jubilee runs, he produced, produced, and appeared in lead roles. He worked in Manikkam, which was an average grosser at the box-office in 1996. He spent the following year in Pasamulla Pandiyare. The film turned out to be a disappointment.
