Career
Trent was born in Innsbruck, Austria, to an Austrian father and an Italian mother. Trent's debut single "Like It Is" debuted on June 18, 2016. Trent was named the Austrian representative in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 on December 19th. On February 28, 2017, his album, "Running on Air," was released. Trent was one of the 33 artists shortlisted in Unser Song 2017, the competition to select the German entrant in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. He was automatically barred from performing more than one country in the same year by European Broadcasting Union rules, since a performer can not represent more than one country in the same year. He ended up 16th in the competition, with 93 points.
