Nathaniel "Nat" Ho (born on August 23, 1984) is a Singaporean actor and singer.
Personal life
Ho completed his A Levels at Anglo-Chinese Junior College and was a member of the school's award-winning choir for four years.
Career
In the inaugural season of Singapore Idol in 2004, Ho was one of the Top 30 contestants. The Singapore Armed Forces Music and Drama Company also named him as the 'Most Promising Artist' in 2004. One of his first acting appearances was in the Channel 5 drama Shooting Stars. Nat was given the lead role in a local feature film, Smell of Rain.
After being spotted by a modeling company, Ho dabbled in modeling while pursuing his diploma in Mass Communications. His portfolio included companies like M1, Lipton Tea, KFC, Marina Square Shopping Centre, and Tiger Balm.
He also worked as a backup dancer for a few commercial companies, including the Indian International Film Academy Awards 2004 and Miss Singapore Universe 2006 to name a few. During his modeling time, he performed freelance acting and gained his first acting gig in Smell of Rain, a Chinese independent film.
He was signed on with MediaCorp and cast in his first Chinese language drama series Honour and Passion, which received him a Best Newcomer award at the 2007 Academy Awards.
Ho left MediaCorp in 2010 to concentrate on his music career. He said that music was his true passion and that he never set out to be an actor. [All this] came as a bonus.] In April 2012, he launched Unleashed, a new music album starring actress Dawn Yeoh and Le Yao, as well as blogger Xiaxue.
After signing a nine-year music deal, Ho revealed that he will be heading to Taiwan to continue his music career.
Hooper was inspired by Los Angeles's departure in 2020 to study music production for personal development. Hoe has been away for a year, allowing him to concentrate on songwriting and production.
