Andie Chen (born 16 June 1985) is a Singaporean actor, host, and vlogger.

He served as a full-time Mediacorp actor from 2005 to 2017, but now film on ad-hoc basis.

Chen revealed on November 1 that he would not be renewing his deal with Mediacorp.

Chen and his wife, Kate Pang, left Medicorp on October 31, 2017.

Personal life

Chen graduated from Tanglin Secondary School before moving to Ngee Ann Polytechnic, where he obtained a diploma in Film, Sound, and Video. He married actress Kate Pang in 2013 following a unethical courtship, and the two children, Aden and Avery, have two children. Kandie Family, Chen and Pang's parenting channel, was established in 2016.

Chen's first appearance on television was in Channel 5's Growing Up Season 2 Ep 12: Brother Of Mine, in which he made a cameo flashback appearance as a child version of Tay Wee Seng, Lim Kay Tong's older brother and was named Andy Tan in year 1997. Since winning Star Search 2007 and landing a deal with Mediacorp, he came to fame. The following year, he was given his first television appearance, most notably in the blockbuster period drama The Little Nyonya. Since then, he has appeared in numerous high-profile television dramas, including Unriddle, C.L., Code of Honour, Joys of Life, The Journey (trilogy series) and The Lead.

Chen played the lead role in Toy Factory Productions' Mandarin musical, December Rains. It was his first theatrical appearance.

At Star Awards 2017, Chen was nominated in three categories including Best Actor for If Only I Could, Best Supporting Artist for Hero, and Top Ten Most Popular Male Artists in the United States. Chen announced on September 1st that he would not be renewing his deal with Mediacorp. Chen and his wife, Kate Pang, left Mediacorp on October 31, 2017. The Lead was his last drama series with Mediacorp. At the Star Awards in 2018, he was selected for Top 10 Most Popular Male Artists.
