The ex-Manchester United midfielder has joined a new club in the Greek Super League just over two months after he ended his deal with Konyaspor after just nine days. The 33-year-old left the Turkish club in August just over a week after committing to a two-year contract due to family reasons. He has now signed for Kifisia, who currently sit in tenth place with just one win out of seven league outings.

Schneiderlin, who has also played for Southampton and Everton, has left the club just over a week due to family reasons. Schneiderlin signed a two-year contract but decided to leave the Super Lig company due to a sudden change of heart, with Konyaspor officials approving his request. After a three-year career, the now free agent joined Ligue 1 outfit Nice in the summer, and has also joined Australian side Western Sydney Wanderers on loan. Schneiderlin made 59 appearances for Nice over two seasons in total, as well as the second half of last season Down Under, where he appeared 12 times.
