Following the most recent round of play, the continental tournament will take place from January 13 to February 11, with players having to join their national teams. Southampton have resoldered their offer for Swansea City defender Nathan Wood, who is estimated to cost about £8 million more add-ons. According to reports, the England U21 international told Swansea that he would like to work with former manager Russell Martin. Michael Duff, Swansea's head coach, said a first bid had been turned down for the 21-year-old, but Southampton have repaid with a £10 million bid.
