Mithun Sharma (born 11 January 1985), also known as Mithoon, is an Indian film music producer, lyricist-music arranger, and performer.Mithoon is best known for his composition of the 2013 Bollywood romantic film Aashiqui 2.

Early life
Mithoon was born into a family of musicians. Pandit Ram Prasad Sharma, his grandfather, taught thousands of students, many of whom are among the best musicians in the country today. Nash Sharma, his father, was a leading musical arranger, having worked with almost every one of the top composers in more than two hundred films. Mithoon's father and uncle Pyarelal-ji (Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma) formed one-half of the legendary composer pair Laxmikant-Pyarelal.
At the age of eleven, Mithoon began studying music. Since his father was busy, he sent him to qualified individuals to teach himself. His father followed him closely and would often know what he was doing. His father listened to the songs that he created often.
Career
Mithoon began his work in Zeher with "Woh Lamhe" and "Aadat" in Kalyug. Mithoon's pal, Onir, (director of Bas Ek Pal), wanted an electro-based championship track in 2006. "Bas Ek Pal" with singer KK became his first original composition as a composer, and "Tere Bin" (by singer Atif Aslam) followed him in 2006. Both songs were included in the film Bas Ek Pal. .
He wrote the score for Anwar, was released in 2007, and his works Tose Naina Lage and Maula Mere are also extremely popular. His compositions in The Train Woh Ajnabee, Beete Lamhe & Mausam were chartbusters.
He also performed on numerous nonmovie albums, including "Kuch Is Tarah" from Atif Aslam's album Doorie, and Abhijeet Sawant's "Ek Shaqs" from Abhijeet Sawant's Junoon's Abhijeet Sawant's album Junoon's "Abhijeet Sawant's "Ek Shaqs." Tu Hi Mere Rab Ki Tarah Hai's own album was released in 2009 as part of T-Series. Mithoon rode in musicians in the United Kingdom for this album. He performed with musicians of the Philharmonic Orchestra.
