Miko John Hughes (born February 22, 1986) is an American actor known for his film debuts as a child, including Gage Creed in Pet Sematary (1990), Joseph in Kindergarten Cop (1990), and as Bob McNel (1996) as an autism researcher in Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1995), as Aaron (Heather Langenkamp's son) and as Aaron in Full House from 1990 to 1995.
Early life
Hughes was born in Apple Valley, California, the son of Mary (née Phelps) and John Hughes, a special effects technician (not to be confused with late Breakfast Club director John Hughes). Mike, Mitch, and Molly are three older half-siblings. He has ancestry that includes English and Chickasaw Native Americans.
Career
Hughes began his acting career when he was 22 months old, and he followed that up by appearing in his first film five months later. Hughes was consistently one of Hollywood's busiest young actors from his days as a kid actor. Jack the Bear, opposite Danny DeVito (1989), Pamwn (1995), Zeus and Roxanne (1997), and Mercury Rising (1998) with Bruce Willis.
Hughes has appeared in many television series as well as in numerous television shows. On several television shows, he has appeared as a series regular, revolving character, or guest star. Aaron Bailey appeared on Full House from 1990 to 1995. Other appearances include Baywatch (1998), Sister Kate (1989–90), Melrose Place (1991), Touched by an Angel (1994), and The Nanny (1994). Hughes received an Emmy Award for his role as Tommy in the number one-rated Fox animated television series Life with Louie (1995). Sly and Witt, twin babies, were among his other voice-over credits in the 1999 film Baby Geniuses.
Hughes resurfaced as a teen in Roswell's science-fiction book after a break in his career. He played a villain who belonged to a renegade group of aliens. In 1995, Hughes released two albums as a singer at the age of nine. One is self-titled, and the other is called Halloween Haunts. He produced songs for both albums. They were collected and released by Little Chief Inc., his own firm. In the horror anthology film Chilling Visions: 5 Senses of Fear, Hughes directed the segment "See" in 2013.
