Max Julien Life

Max Julien (born January 1, 1945) is an American actor best known for his role as Goldie in the 1973 blaxploitation film, The Mack.

Julien appeared on Def Jam's How to Be a Player and has appeared on television shows including The Mod Squad, The Bold Ones: The Protectors, and One on One. Joseph Papp's Shakespeare-In-The-Park began his career on the stage in New York's Off-Broadway circuit, with Joseph Papp's Shakespeare-In-The-Park.

He made it from westward to Hollywood in Psych-Out and Candice Bergen's box-office hit film Getting Straight.

While living in Rome, Italy, he conceived and produced Trestevre, wrote the script for, and then co-produced Warner Brothers' blaxploitation masterpiece Cleopatra Jones, which starred actress Tamara Dobson in the title role as a narcotics agent who was as proficient in martial arts as she was with firearms.

Julien refused to participate in the sequel,WINDS and Cleopatra Jones, which resulted in his being credited instead with the film's plot and script, both of which were "based on characters created by Max Julien."
