Mary Holland (born June 24, 1985) is an American actress and comedian.

Early life and education

In Galax, Virginia, Holland was born and raised. She studied at Interlochen Center for the Performing Arts and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Northern Illinois University.

Career

She began performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre after graduating from college. She appears in the UCB's flagship show Assscat.

Holland, together with Lauren Lapkus, Erin Whitehead, and Stephanie Allynne, are members of the comedy improv group Wild Horses.

Holland appeared in the Starz film Blunt Talk in 2015, playing Shelly Tinkle until the series' cancellation after two seasons. In 2016, she appeared in a recurring role on the HBO series Veep and in the film Unicorn Store. On February 28, 2017, Holland appeared alongside Carol Burnett in the ABC comedy pilot Household Name.

Holland competed in the Sequester: Undercover Mini in which she played as the Lemon on July 26, 2020. All proceeds from Holland's participation went to the Black Trans Travel Fund. She appeared in the final episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm in 2020. Martha Reiser appeared in Senior Year, a Rebel Wilson comedy film released in 2022. The film received largely critical feedback, but her performance was lauded.
