Mario Davidovsky Life

Mario Davidovsky (March 4, 1934-2019) was an Argentine-American composer.

Born in Argentina, he immigrated to the United States in 1960, where he lived for the remainder of his life.

In live performances, he is best known for his Synchronisms series, which incorporates acoustic instruments as well as electroacoustic sounds played from a cassette.

Personal life

In 1961, Davidovsky married Ellen Blaustein. They had two children and three grandchildren. He died in New York City on August 23, 2019, at the age of 85.
