Early life
Macaulay Carson Culkin was born in New York City on August 26, 1980, to Christopher Cornelius "Kit" Culkin, a former stage actor, and Patricia Brentrup, a North Dakota resident who encountered Kit in 1974 while working as a road traffic controller in Sundance, Wyoming. The couple were relocating to Kit's hometown New York City shortly and gave birth to a total of seven children: Shane (b. ) is one of Culkin's siblings. Dakota (1979–2008), Kieran (b. ), a student at the University of Dakota (1979–2008). Quinn (b. 1982) - Quinn (b. Christian (b. 1984) (b. Rory and Rory (b. 1987) and Rory (b.). 1989 (Japan): Jennifer (born 1970), a paternal half-sister, died in 2000. Bonnie Bedelia, his paternal aunt, is a comedian. Culkin is of part-Irish descent.
