Career
Fonsi's debut album, Comenzaré (I Will Begin), was released in 1997. The record peaked at number 11 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart, and it included hits "Si Tè Quisieras," "Perdóname," "Dime Como," and "Me Iré." Comenzaré is a hit in Puerto Rico and Latin America, with Fonsi also doing well in markets such as Colombia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Mexico, and Venezuela.
