Personal life

Lil Twist was arrested in Calabasas, California, on July 11, 2013. He was driving Justin Bieber's Fisker Karma and was expected to be traveling between 60 and 70 mph in a 30 mph zone.

In March 2015, Lil Twist was arrested and charged with making unlawful assaults, robbery, grand theft, battery, and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon. Christopher Massey, a Disney actor, was assaulted by Twist and four others. Lil Twist pled no contest to six charges and was given a one-year term on December 1, 2016. After serving seven and a half weeks of his term, he was released from jail in March 2017.

Career

Lil Twist hails from Dallas, Texas. After completing one year, he dropped out of high school.

Lil Twist performed at a Lil Wayne concert in Tyler, Texas, and opened for Lil Wayne when he was 12 years old. Cortez and Wayne, who were shocked, followed Lil Twist to Atlanta to see how he was in a recording studio.

When he was ten years old, he released "The Texas Twist," his first album, which was No. 1 in Dallas for six weeks in a row.

To build excitement for his forthcoming but never released album, Bad Decisions, he released mixestapes such as The Golden Child and a single called "Love Affair."

In the XXL hip hop magazine's "2011 Freshman Class," he was featured. Since then, he has appeared on recordings by Bieber as "Twerk," "Wind It" and others, as well as 2 Chainz in "Do What You Want" and "Do What You Want" and Miley Cyrus. Khalil's 2012 mixtape 3 Weeks in Miami is a project.

Lil Twist has appeared on Disney Channel's animated film Fish Hooks as the voice of Brandon Bubbler.

Young Carter, Lil Twist's mixtape, was dropped on April 11, 2017.
