Career
Lee Sang-yoon was chosen from a crowd of people on Yeouido's streets by his former agency chief at the age of 24. He made his television debut in 2005 in a Hite Beer advertisement and went on to appear in several television series. At the 2010 MBC Drama Awards for Home Sweet Home, he was named Best New Actor.
Lee received recognition for his role in the family weekend drama My Daughter Seo-Young (2012), which attained a high viewership rating of 48 percent, making it the highest rated Korean drama of 2013.
