Kari Jobe Life

Kari Brooke Jobe (born April 6, 1981) is an American contemporary Christian music singer and songwriter.

She has received one Grammy Award nomination and nine Dove Award nominations since her first album in 2009, four of which she has won.

Personal life

Jobe revealed on Instagram in August that she had become engaged to fellow Gateway Worship artist Cody Carnes. On November 21, 2014, the two were married.

Jobe and her husband were expecting a son on the red carpet of the Dove Awards 2015. Jobe revealed in June 2018 that she and her husband were expecting their second child, who was born on February 1, 2019.

In December 2019, the couple visited the White House and prayed for President Donald Trump. They appeared in a video praising the Trump administration. The pair expressed surprise in reaction to a skepticism of the trip: "We didn't know we were going to photograph in the Oval Office or know we were going to post it." I didn't know they'd use a video interview we did about how incredible it was to be in a White House leading worship."
