Addararachchige Gunendra Kamal (born on February 5, 1962: Sinhala: ) also known as Kamal Addararachchi, is an actor in Sri Lankan cinema, theatre, and television, as well as a performer and host. Although he wasn't a student at school, he made his debut as an actor in Gamini Fonseka's 1981 film Sagarayak Meda. He has appeared in a number of film and teledramas since the late 1970s. He has appeared in more than 40 films, 20 teledramas, and 6 stage plays, and he has received the Sarasaviya Best Actor Award for his role as Sobana in Agnidahaya in 2002.
In 1993, he made his name as a singer with "Unmadawoo," a duet with Damayanthi Jayasooriya that appeared in the film Saptha Kanya. He appeared on the first three seasons of Sirasa Superstar, a reality show, as well as the first season of Hiru Mega Stars.
