Josef Altin (born as Yusuf Altin; 12 February 1983) is an English TV series and film actor who had the role of Pypar in the HBO fantasy TV series Game of Thrones.
Other notable performances is his role as Ekrem in Eastern Promises and his roles in The Bill, Peep Show, and Casualty.
He starred in D.C. Moore's hit play The Empire at the Royal Court Theatre in London.

Life and career
Altin was born in London to a Turkish family. Garry's first appearance in a television program was in the drama series Psychos. When he first appeared in a major British television show in 2004, he was playing a machine strimmer in Blackpool. Altin has appeared on The Bill many times over the years; from 2006 to 2007, he appeared as Jay Henderson, and in 2009, he played Peter Balmaine. Since his appearance on The Bill, he became a very in demand actor and appeared in more roles over the coming years, including in both television series and films several times a year.
