Early life and career
Joey B was born in Cape Coast, Ghana. At age six (6), he discovered his passion for music and helped with ghostwriting most of the songs they wrote together. This reignited his unrelently love for music and pursued it. He obtained his primary education from St. Theresa's school and then transferred to Accra High School. In 2016, he attended Zenith University College.
Later in life, he collaborated with producer Lil Shaker until they met Jayso, the maker of Skillions. From then on, he has worked with various brands and producers, including Hammer of The Last Two and Black Avenue Music, and has released many hit songs, including "Toonga," "Pinch mah Nips," and "Strawberry." At the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, he was named the Hip-life/Hiphop Artist of the Year.
