Olamide Adedeji (born 15 March 1989), also known as Olamide on stage, but more commonly known as Baddo or BaddoSneh, is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist.

He records mainly in Yoruba, his native tongue.

He released his debut studio album Rapsodi in 2011 while signing to Coded Tunes.

YBNL Nation, his follow-up album, was released under the brand YBNL Nation's imprint.

The album was promoted by the singles "First of All," "Voice of the Street," "Stupid Love," and "Ilefo Illuminati."

He released his third studio album, Baddest Guy Ever Liveth, on November 7, 2013.

"Durosoke" and "Yemi My Lover" are among the album's singles.

Olamide became the first Nigerian to sign an endorsement contract with Cîroc on July 17th.

Olamide has been nominated and has received many music awards, including multiple Nigeria Entertainment Awards and The Headies Awards.

Chiori Daniel Cole, a Representative of Achievas Entertainment Limited and Right Entertainment, which is now known as TEC, began the campaign to see him perform OLIC (OLAMIDE LIVE IN CONCERT), one of Nigeria's biggest live concerts.

He was the first individual to sell out the Eko Convention Center for three years, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2018. He sold out the Teslim Balogun Stadium, which seats over 12000 people, in 2017.

He has also sold out the Eventim Apollo of 5000 people, as well as Phyno at the opening of his Culture Tour in 2017 in The O2 Arena.

Early life and musical beginnings

Olamide Adedeji was born in Bariga, Lagos State, on March 15, 1989. He is the second of Pa Adedeji's three children, Ronke Osisanya Adedeji and his second wife, Ronke Osisanya Adedeji. TemmyGold and Eniola Olamilekan are Olamide's two children (who is also known as DJ Enimoney).

Olamide's career began in 2010 when he unveiled "Eni Duro," his debut single. He appeared at The Hip Hop World Awards in the same year. At Tai Solarin University, he studied mass communication but was forced to leave due to financial constraints.

Adedeji is married to Adebukunmi Suleiman, and they have two boys together, Maximilian Boluwatife and Tunrepin Myles. Maria Okanrende, a Beat 99.9 FM reporter at the time, is accused of having a love child with Olamide.

He was signed to ID Cabasa's Coded Tunes record label and was managed by Toni Payne. In 2012, he left Coded Tunes and started his own record company YBNL Nation.

Rapsodi, Olamide's debut album, was released in 2011. On many radio stations in Lagos and around Nigeria, the company's lead single, "Omo To Shan," charted. Olamide's debut resulted in collaborations with many musicians, including Wizkid, ID Cabasa, 9ice, Reminisce, and D'banj.

In November 2012, Adedeji's second studio album YBNL was released. Tyrone (producer), Samklef, 2 Kriss, Pheelz, and ID Cabasa were involved in the production. The album features guest appearances from Davido, Tiwa Savage, Kayswitch, Dammy Krane, Reminisce, Samklef, Buckwylla, Minus 2 and Base One. The singles "I lefo Illuminati," "First of All," "Stupid Love," and "Voice of the Street" were all assisting the project.

Olamide's third studio album is titled "Badest Guy Ever Lives." YBNL Nation first announced it on November 7, 2013. Pheelz, Buckwyla, Ketchup, Ice Prince, Pepeazi, Pepetazi, Endia, Viktoh, B.Banks, Phyno, Pele Pele, and Bez performed on the album from 2012 to 2013. Except for the thirteenth track, "Sitting on the Throne," Pheelz's album was entirely produced by him.

Four singles: "Durosoke," "Turn Up," "Memi My Lover," and "Eleda Mi O" were among the Baddest Guy Ever Lived's support: "Durosoke," "Surn Up," "I Lover," "Yemi My Lover" and "Eleda Mi O" were all supported by four singles: "Durosoke," "Well-To-God" and "Eleda The album was included in the Premium Times newspaper as one of the top 5 Nigerian albums not to be announced in 2013. On Afrikka Radio's list of the top 12 best Nigerian albums of 2013, it ranked 12th. At the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards, Baddest Guy Ever Liveth was named Best Album of the Year, and at the 2014 City People Entertainment Awards, he was named for Rap Album of the Year. At The Headies 2014, it was named Best Rap Album and Album of the Year.

Olamide had signed a historic deal with DB Records in May 2013. Olamide debunk the claims on Twitter. In an interview with Toolz on NdaniTV's The Juice, he said that signing him was "too late."

Olamide's fourth album Street OT was released by YBNL Nation on November 14, 2014. The album is a follow-up to his 2013 Best Guy Ever Lives album. "Story of the Gods" and "Goons Mi" are the first two songs on the album. Street OT has guest appearances from Pasuma, Lil Kesh, Chinko Ekun, Phyno, Don Jazzy, and Reminisce. Pheelz, B-Banks, and Young Jonn directed the company's development. The album's title, according to the artist, is to celebrate and demonstrate his passion for the "streets," a term with which Olamide is synonymous.

Olamide released two Kings in 2015 with Phyno. Penthauze Music and YBNL Nation made the announcement on April 1, 2015, via Cloud 9 and the iTunes Store. On December 23, 2016, Olamide's sixth studio album, Glory, was released. Pheelz's studio production was released through YBNL Nation. Phyno, Wande Coal, Burna Boy, Akuchi, and Davolee are among the 16 songs that have been on the backtrack to back track with hits from artists like Phyno, Wande Coal, Burna Boy, Akuchi, and Davolee. The Glory is Eyan Mayweather's sequel.

Olamide unveiled nine songs on February 10, 2020, but Pheelz was the primary performer. It features interviews from Phyno, Maximilliano (Olamide's son) and others.

The project was rated 6/10 by Tooxclusive, while Pulse TV's Molotani Alake gave a 5.5/10 rating.

Olamide announced to the world on February 18th that his record label, YBNL Nation, has signed a Joint Venture agreement with a multinational distribution firm [1], Empire. Fireboy DML, as well as any new artist signed to YBNL Nation, will benefit from the deal, according to the actor.

Carpe Diem, Olamide's eleventh album, was announced on October 8, 2020. Carpe Diem is a music collection that includes 12 tracks and features Omah Lay, Fireboy DML, Peruzzi, Bad Boy Timz, Bella Shmurda, and Phyno, as well as Young John, Pheelz, P. Olamide revealed on March 20, 2021, he was no longer working on another album. On 18 April, he launched UY Scuti, the album that had been out on the internet on June 18. Olamide claimed that his son inspired him on why he named the album UY Scuti.
