James Craig Life

James Henry Meador (born James Henry Meador, February 4, 1912 – June 27, 1985) was an American actor.

He is best known for his appearances in films such as Kitty Foyle and Daniel Webster, as well as his time as a leading man at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in the 1940s, where he appeared in films as "The Human Comedy."

Personal life

Craig and Mary June Ray (from 1939 to 1954), Jil Jarmyn (married 1959, divorced 1963), and Sumie Jassi; both unions ended in divorce.

Craig's first wife argued he assaulted her. A judge issued an arrest warrant to Craig for failing to attend a divorce hearing involving his second wife Jane in 1963. He pleaded for his release after being refused admission. Jane alleged that he had broken into their house, assaulted her, and chopped up her clothes; she also suspected she had a problem with alcohol. Jane killed her eleven-year-old son by a previous marriage and then committed suicide in 1967.

Craig had two sons, Robert and James Jr., and a daughter; one of the sons predeceased him.

Craig revealed that in comparison to acting, he earned money from a variety of sources other than acting, such as race horses, a cafe, a chicken ranch, and carpentry.

Craig began working as a real estate agent after retiring from acting in 1972.

How Detroit cops allowed a serial killer to walk free for YEARS before he murdered four women by luring them into vacant homes and then posing their nude corpses amid cheap booze bottles

www.dailymail.co.uk, December 21, 2023
Since 2004, Detroit police have failed to follow up on leads, including forgetting about a rape testing kit, arresting the wrong man in a strangling, and refusing to advise other departments that DeAngelo Martin (pictured right). The victims' families (pictured left) have expressed annoyance with the missteps and claim that police may have been more effective if the victims weren't so vulnerable, struggling with heroin, mental health, or homelessness. Martin is now serving between 45 and 70 years in jail for the murders, but an inquiry revealed that police missed multiple opportunities to arrest him sooner.

The day before his wife died of poisoning, a Colorado dentist asked the church to help him clear the basement

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 24, 2023
According to DailyMail.com, Colorado dentist James Craig may have recruited members of his church to assist him with a potential crime scene at his house the day before his wife, Angela, was declared dead. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints' Southshore Ward, of which the Craig family is a member, were asked to help 'organize' Craig's mudroom and basement at their Aurora home, while Angela, 43, was in hospital and ahead of other families' arrival. It was an unusually specific request,' the source told DailyMail.com. It's very common in the neighborhood for us to step into someone's house and help when there's been a new baby or sickness, but the request was so heightened.
