Personal life

Terry now lives in Houston, Texas, and worked as a physics instructor at YES Prep Southeast before taking on a HighRadius Corporation. In addition, Terry has appeared on Rob Has a Podcast and The Dom & Colin Podcast, mainly discussing Survivor or Big Brother.

Terry told a group of houseguests that he is on the autism spectrum on episode 3 of Big Brother 22: All Stars. On September 8, 2020, coworkers, Memphis Garrett, Nicole Franzel, Dani Briones, and Christmas Abbott were seen joking about Ian's behaviours related to his autism diagnosis, particularly his rocking back and forth during discussions on the live feeds of Big Brother 22: All-Stars. On Twitter, Big Brother followers raged over this conduct, causing more uproar. On Twitter, former Big Brother contestants also sluggishly judged Terry's conduct against him.
