Gul Panag (born Gulkirat Kaur Panag, 1979; Chandigarh, India) is an Indian actor, voice actor, and former beauty queen who competed in the Miss Universe pageant.

Panag began her Bollywood work with the 2003 film Dhoop.

Since then, she has appeared in films including Jurm and the TV series Kashmeer.

Dor, Dhoop, Manorama Six Feet Under, Hello, Straight, and Ab Tak Chhappan 2 are among her notable films. In the 2006 Nagesh Kukunoor film, Dor, she played a commoner, struggling to keep her husband from going to the gallows.

She appeared in the films Hello and Summer 2007, both in 2008.

She appeared in Straight in 2009, the first time she appeared in the film Straight.

She appeared in Rann in a role attempting to discourage her boy friend from doing the right thing.

Panag appeared on Maxim's front page, with whom she did a photo shoot in September 2008.

Early life

Panag began her studies in Sangrur, Punjab. Lt. Gen. Panag's father was in the army, and the family moved around India and abroad. She attended Kendriya Vidyalayas (Chandigarh, Mhow, Leh, and Wellington, Tamil Nadu), The Lawrence School, Lovedale, and the International School of Lusaka, Zambia, as a result of this. She earned her Bachelors in Mathematics from Punjabi University, Patiala, and a Masters in Political Science from Panjab University, Chandigarh. Panag, a student, was interested in sports and public speaking. She has gained numerous state and national level debate competitions, including two gold medals at the Annual National University Debate Championships.

Panag captured the Miss India title in 1999 and was named Miss Beautiful Smile at the same pageant. She appeared in the Miss Universe 1999 pageant.

She has appeared in numerous television and print advertisements, and Tata Sky's brand ambassador, as well as Aamir Khan.

Panag was the Twitter Face of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week in 2009 to cover the event/proceedings on the microblogging website.
