From Billionaires' Row to a new-build housing estate? On a derelict site on Bishops Avenue, architects sketched out plans for 300 houses, as sprawling mansions that once belonged to Brunei, actor Gracie Fields, and Justin Bieber are replaced by luxurious flats

The initiatives will result in the construction of hundreds of affordable homes in North London's exclusive suburb, with others including an arts center. Families will live alongside mansions of some of the world's richest people, including the Sultan of Brunai, Justin Bieber, and the Saudi royals. It comes as the landscape of Billionaires' Row is set to change forever, with some of the plush pads being purchased by property developers to create large blocks of flats and retirement homes. Proposing a mixture of social housing, family homes, and privately rented accommodation, RCKa's owner estimated that the vast number of properties may have been scattered among the exclusive website's trees.

QUENTIN LETTS: Nothing beats a bath, or at least I did until yesterday's Mail delivered troubling news. Baths are out of fashion, according to reports. You could say that the tide is going out on them. The headline read, "We're going to plug baths to reduce our electricity bills." Jonathan Myers, a heating water specialist, explained that the cost of heating water for a bath had resulted in a change in the country's daily life. 'People are taking fewer baths and avoiding those high electricity bills, and taking more showers,' he said.

A group of student explorers have gone viral after they snuck into an abandoned mansion on Bishops Avenue in London, also known as Billionaire's Row, one of the world's richest streets. The street, which is sandwiched in between Hampstead Heath and East Finchley in North London, is made up of 66 mansions and has a total value of £511 million. The super-rich Sultan of Brunei and Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber are among the former residents and owners of homes in the region.
