Doa Florinda, El Chavo del Ocho, La Chimolty, and other El Chapult Colorado roles, she is best known as Doa Florinda.

Florinda Meza Career

Early life and career

Meza was born in Juchipila, Zacatecas, and she was the niece of Emilia Garca and Hector Meza. She was starring Roberto Gómez Bolaos in the Televisa sitcom El Chavo del Ocho, which would be a major international hit. The exhibit will run from February 26, 1973 to January 7, 1980 (although the sketch will continue until 1992), during which her and Gómez Bolaos embarked on a lifelong relationship that never produced any children. She was also known to have played Édgar Vivar's wife "Botija" in the sketch "Life and Death" (alongside Gómpiras). Meza will also appear in Chespirito's other main sitcom, El Chapuln Colorado.

She and Gómez Bolaoos began touring regularly after Chespirito's production ended in 1995. After a 27-year marriage, the couple would marry in a civil ceremony on November 19, 2004.

Meza will appear in several films as well as produced telenovelas including La Due A, Alguna Vez Tendremos Alas, and Milagro y Magia, in which she also appeared.
